On Monday the Secretary of State for Chilren, Schools and Families, Ed Balls, spent a day in Gloucester to talk about Labour investment in schools and Sure Start centres across the City. All the great progress we have made is at risk from a Tory government as Labour is the only party that have promised to ring-fence the education budget after the election.
Mr Balls visited local families who rely on services like Sure Start and free nursery places. Ed also had chance to walk around the City centre and hold a Q&A session with local Labour party supporters.
