Last week, Parmjit voiced the importance of short term supported lodging hosts for the less-fortunate youth in Gloucester. The existing service, known as "Nightstop" has been successful, but more lodging hosts are needed to get young people off the streets and into warmer, safer accomodation. The hosts take young homeless people in their homes for up to 6 weeks whilst longer term housing is found for them or they are helped to return home.
Parmjit urges Gloucester residents to consider this gentle challenge, and help the youth who are in need of a safe temporary accomadation.
